“The frontman duo Laura Jašková (guitar, bass guitar) and Valentina Vlková (vocals), accompanied by drummer Martin Miklis, gave a confident performance and with their live combination of drum&bass and slower electronic surfaces with a pop song form, they had no problem moving the full dance floor. Sovereign and captivating stage performance of both musicians is caused by their frequent concerts not only with the Meowlau x Val project, but also with A-class Slovak bands – in the case of Laura Jašková it is Billy Barman, in the case of Valentína Vlková it is Jana Kirschner. It is only a matter of time when their animal drive with huge potential supported by experience will be noticed by professionals from abroad.”
